Refunds and Returns

At Filterific, our return and exchange policy covers purchases within 30 days of delivery.

1. Return Eligibility 

Under Australian Consumer Law (ACCC), we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you simply change your mind. However, for exchanges due to accidental incorrect purchases:

  • Items must be unused, in the original packaging, and in the same condition that you received them.
  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Return Shipping: For exchanges, the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs.

2. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

We will provide a refund, repair, or exchange within 30 days if an item:

  • Has a major problem that would have prevented someone from buying it if they had known about it.
  • Is unsafe or significantly different from the sample or description.
  • Doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
  • No Return Cost: If the item is defective or we sent the wrong product, we will cover the return shipping cost. Please contact us at orders@filterific.com.au to receive a prepaid shipping label or instructions.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at orders@filterific.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
  2. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on where to send your package.
  3. Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

4. Return Method & Fees

  • Method: Returns are accepted via mail/courier.
  • Restocking: We do not charge any restocking fees for returned items.
  • Return Shipping Costs:
    - For defective/damaged products: $0 (Free).
    - For accidental incorrect purchase: Customer to arrange and pay for the return shipping fee.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Processing Time: Please note that banks and credit card companies may take additional time to post the refund. If you haven’t received your refund within 15 business days of approval, please contact us at orders@filterific.com.au.
